Opinion
In the upcoming VCT best-of-series match scheduled for 2026-09-27 09:00 UTC: if T1 wins the series, the market will resolve to "T1"; if 100 Thieves wins the series, the market will resolve to "100 Thieves". The series winner is the first team to win a majority of games. Individual games remade due to technical issues do not count as wins toward the series. If the match is canceled (not played at all), ends in a tie, or is delayed beyond 7 days from the scheduled date without a winner determined, this market will resolve to 50-50. If the match begins but is not completed, and one team wins due to the opponent's forfeiture, disqualification, or walkover, this market will resolve to the team who wins. If the match ends in a forfeit, disqualification, or walkover (team withdraws before the start and the other wins automatically), this market will resolve to 50-50. In cases where a team's listed name includes minor discrepancies from the resolution source, this market will resolve based on the underlying real-world match rather than exact name matching. Recognizable abbreviations, alternate or erroneous spellings, sponsor tags, affiliate or academy designations, regional identifiers, and minor formatting differences will be treated as referring to the same team, provided the intended team can be clearly and uniquely identified within the relevant competition. If a listed team name has no reasonable connection to any participating team, or if it matches or could reasonably refer to another team in the same competition such that the intended team cannot be unambiguously determined, this market will resolve 50-50. Resolution Source: official VCT broadcast and https://valorantesports.com/; community coverage on vlr.gg may be used as a supplementary source. Note: Opinion will resolve strictly based on the first officially published result from the designated source. Any subsequent revisions will not affect this resolution.

Often, prediction market odds offer a different perspective than those found at sportsbooks. Sportsbooks set their lines to balance action and ensure a profit, incorporating a 'vig' or commission. This market, however, is driven purely by the collective predictions of traders, representing their assessment of the likely outcome. While sportsbooks may initially have different odds, they often adjust based on betting patterns, potentially converging with the prediction market’s price as more information becomes available. It’s common to see discrepancies, especially early on, offering opportunities for informed traders.
This market resolves around Sep 27, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once the event is verifiable from credible public reporting. The resolution will be based on the official result of the 100 Thieves vs T1 match, as determined by the event organizers. The platform will verify the result against widely available and trusted sources to ensure accuracy. Traders who correctly predicted the outcome will be paid out according to the final market prices at resolution. It’s important to monitor the event and stay informed about any potential delays or changes.
Several signals could significantly impact this market. Any news regarding player form, team strategies, or unexpected roster changes for either 100 Thieves or T1 could cause price fluctuations. Major announcements about the match schedule or venue could also influence trading activity. Furthermore, general shifts in public sentiment, reflected in social media or analyst predictions, can affect trader behavior. Unexpected upsets in other related matches might also lead traders to reassess their probabilities, causing movement in this market until the event concludes.
