Frequently asked questions

Prediction market odds often reflect a different perspective than traditional sportsbooks. While sportsbooks set lines based on statistical models and expert analysis, this market represents the wisdom of the crowd. Discrepancies can arise due to differing information access, biases, or simply a broader range of participants. If sportsbook odds significantly diverge from those seen here, it may indicate that the market believes the sportsbook is undervaluing or overvaluing a particular outcome. It's a useful comparison point for informed decision-making.

On Polymarket, this market is priced through a continuous auction mechanism, where traders buy and sell shares representing their belief in the likelihood of a particular outcome. The price of a share directly corresponds to the implied probability of that outcome occurring. On Polymarket, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. The more shares purchased for a specific outcome, the higher its price rises, and vice versa. This dynamic pricing reflects the collective intelligence of the market participants and adjusts as new information becomes available.

This market resolves around Nov 3, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once the event is verifiable from credible public reporting. The resolution will be based on the official result of the Zvolynskyi vs. Shulhachyk match, as determined by the governing sports authority. Traders will be able to see the final outcome reflected in the market, and winning shares will be paid out accordingly. The platform will verify the result and finalize the settlement process shortly after the event concludes.

Several factors could influence the price of shares in this market. Any news regarding the condition of either Zvolynskyi or Shulhachyk, such as injuries or changes in training regimens, could significantly shift the odds. Unexpected announcements about match conditions or changes to the event schedule could also have an impact. Finally, public sentiment and expert analysis, if they change substantially, may also cause traders to adjust their positions and move the market.
