This market refers to the combination of the pre-match coin toss and the final match result for the cricket match between India Women and Zimbabwe Women scheduled for October 20 2026 at 9:30 AM ET in Zimbabwe Women Tour of India T20s. The outcome corresponding to India Women will be considered correct if India Women is officially recorded as winning both the toss and the match. The outcome corresponding to Zimbabwe Women will be considered correct if Zimbabwe Women is officially recorded as winning both the toss and the match. In all other cases - including where the toss and match winners differ, or where no match winner is recorded - the market will resolve to "Draw". DLS/DRS adjustments, over-rate penalties, forfeit/walkover, Super Over, or any other on-field ruling that leads the competition to declare a match winner are treated as ordinary wins. If the match ends tied and the playing conditions provide an on-field tiebreak (e.g., Super Over), the tiebreak winner will be considered the match winner for this market. If the match ends tied with no tiebreak used or available, no team will be considered to have won the match and the market will resolve to "Draw". If the match is permanently canceled, abandoned, or otherwise completed without an official match winner being declared, the market will resolve to "Draw". If the match is postponed or rescheduled, the market remains open until the listed fixture is completed and will then resolve as described above.

Often, prediction market odds offer a different perspective than traditional sportsbooks. Sportsbooks set lines based on their own models and incorporate a profit margin, while this market reflects the collective wisdom of traders. Discrepancies can arise due to differing information, biases, or simply a different assessment of probabilities. If you find a significant difference between the odds on Polymarket and those offered by sportsbooks, it might signal an opportunity for value betting, depending on your own analysis of the event.
On Polymarket, this market is priced through a continuous auction mechanism. Traders buy and sell shares representing their belief in each outcome – in this case, which team will win the toss. As more shares are traded for a particular outcome, its price increases, indicating a higher perceived probability. On Polymarket, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. The price of each outcome reflects the current consensus of traders on Polymarket, and is constantly updated as new information becomes available and trading activity fluctuates.
This market resolves around Oct 27, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once the event is verifiable from credible public reporting. The outcome will be determined by the official result of the toss in the India Women vs Zimbabwe Women T20 series. Specifically, the market will settle based on which team wins the toss, as announced by the official match referee. The resolution will be based on publicly available information, ensuring a transparent and verifiable process for all traders.
Several factors could influence the odds in this market. Any news regarding team form, potential changes to playing conditions, or even weather forecasts could shift trader sentiment. Unexpected announcements about player availability or strategic changes could also have a significant impact. Furthermore, general betting trends and public perception surrounding the teams' chances could drive trading activity and thus, alter the prices on Polymarket until the toss takes place.
