This market refers to the cricket match between India Women and Zimbabwe Women scheduled for October 28 2026 at 4:30 AM ET in Zimbabwe Women Tour of India ODIs. DLS/DRS, over-rate penalties, forfeit/walkover, or any other on-field ruling that leads the competition to declare a winner are treated as ordinary wins. If the match ends tied and the playing conditions provide an on-field tiebreak (e.g., Super Over), the winner determined by that tiebreak will be used for resolution. If the match ends tied and no on-field tiebreak is used or available under the playing conditions (e.g., group-stage ODI with no Super Over), the market will resolve 50-50. If the match is postponed/rescheduled, the market remains open until the listed fixture is completed. If the match is permanently canceled or abandoned or otherwise is completed without a winner, the market resolves 50-50. The primary resolution source for this market is the official statistics of the event as recognized by the governing body or event organizers. However, if the governing body or event organizers have not published final match statistics within 2 hours after the event's conclusion, a consensus of credible reporting may be used instead.

Typically, prediction market odds offer a different perspective than those found at sportsbooks. Sportsbooks often incorporate a 'vig' or commission into their odds, reflecting their profit margin. This market, driven by the collective intelligence of traders on Predict, aims to reflect the true probability of outcomes. While sportsbooks may initially set lines based on expert analysis, prediction markets can quickly adjust as new information and diverse opinions are factored in, potentially revealing discrepancies between public perception and expert forecasts.
On Predict, this market is priced through a dynamic order book where traders buy and sell contracts representing different outcomes. The price of each contract fluctuates based on supply and demand, effectively creating a real-time probability assessment. On Predict, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. Traders are incentivized to set accurate probabilities, as profitable trades depend on correctly anticipating the eventual outcome of the India vs Zimbabwe ODI series. This creates a continuously updated forecast that reflects the aggregated wisdom of the crowd.
This market resolves around Oct 28, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once the results of the India vs Zimbabwe ODI series are verifiable from credible public reporting. The resolution will be based on the official series winner as determined by the governing body of international cricket. Traders will be able to see the final results reflected in their positions on Predict shortly after the series concludes and the official outcome is available. The market will then close, and payouts will be calculated based on the final probabilities established by trading activity.
Several factors could influence trading activity in this market. Unexpected injuries to key players on either the Indian or Zimbabwean teams would likely cause significant shifts in the odds. Major changes in weather forecasts for the match locations could also impact the perceived likelihood of certain outcomes. Additionally, any news regarding team strategies, pitch conditions, or player form could all contribute to movement in the market. Monitoring these signals will be crucial for traders looking to capitalize on opportunities before Oct 28, 2026.
