This market refers to the cricket match between India Women and Zimbabwe Women scheduled for October 25 2026 at 4:30 AM ET in Zimbabwe Women Tour of India ODIs. DLS/DRS, over-rate penalties, forfeit/walkover, or any other on-field ruling that leads the competition to declare a winner are treated as ordinary wins. If the match ends tied and the playing conditions provide an on-field tiebreak (e.g., Super Over), the winner determined by that tiebreak will be used for resolution. If the match ends tied and no on-field tiebreak is used or available under the playing conditions (e.g., group-stage ODI with no Super Over), the market will resolve 50-50. If the match is postponed/rescheduled, the market remains open until the listed fixture is completed. If the match is permanently canceled or abandoned or otherwise is completed without a winner, the market resolves 50-50. The primary resolution source for this market is the official statistics of the event as recognized by the governing body or event organizers. However, if the governing body or event organizers have not published final match statistics within 2 hours after the event's conclusion, a consensus of credible reporting may be used instead.

Often, prediction market odds reflect a different perspective than those found at traditional sportsbooks. Sportsbooks set lines to balance action and incorporate a profit margin, while this market represents the collective wisdom of traders who are incentivized to make accurate predictions. Discrepancies can arise due to differing information, biases, or simply the dynamics of supply and demand within the prediction market. Significant differences between the two may present opportunities for arbitrage, where traders can profit by exploiting price inefficiencies.
On Polymarket, this market is priced through a continuous auction mechanism where traders buy and sell shares representing their belief in the outcome. The price of a share directly corresponds to the probability of that outcome occurring, as perceived by the market participants. On Polymarket, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. As more traders buy shares in a particular outcome, its price increases, reflecting growing confidence. Conversely, selling pressure drives prices down. This dynamic pricing ensures that the market odds constantly adapt to new information and changing sentiment regarding the India vs Zimbabwe ODI series.
This market resolves around Nov 1, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once the event is verifiable from credible public reporting. Resolution will be based on the official results of the India vs Zimbabwe ODI series, specifically which team wins the majority of the matches played. The final outcome will be determined by publicly available and verifiable sources, ensuring a transparent and objective resolution process. Traders should monitor official announcements from cricket governing bodies for confirmation of the series winner.
Several factors could influence the trading activity in this market. Unexpected player injuries or changes in team lineups for either India or Zimbabwe could significantly shift the odds. Weather forecasts predicting disruptions to match schedules could also introduce volatility. Furthermore, any news regarding team form, pitch conditions, or strategic changes announced by either side could prompt traders to reassess their predictions. Major upsets in early matches of the series are also likely to have a substantial impact on the market.
