On Polymarket, this market is priced through a continuous auction mechanism where traders buy and sell shares representing their belief in each outcome. The price of a share directly reflects the implied probability of that outcome occurring. As more traders buy shares in a particular boxer, the price of those shares increases, and the implied probability rises. On Polymarket, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. The market's price is determined entirely by supply and demand, with traders adjusting their positions based on new information and their own analysis of the Oleksandr boxing match.
This market resolves around Oct 15, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once the event is verifiable from credible public reporting. Resolution will be based on the official result declared by the boxing commission overseeing the Oleksandr boxing match. The boxer declared the winner by the official decision will determine the winning outcome in this market. It’s important to note that any potential protests or appeals will not affect the resolution of this market, as it will be based on the initial official result as reported by the governing body.
Several factors could significantly influence this market. Any news regarding injuries to either Ziakun Oleksandr or Lyman Oleksandr would likely cause substantial shifts in the odds. Updates on their training camps, sparring performance, or changes in their coaching staff could also impact trader sentiment. Furthermore, any public statements from the boxers themselves, or analysis from respected boxing experts, could sway the market. Unexpected developments in the lead-up to the fight, such as changes in the venue or fight rules, could also create volatility in this market.
