Two professional Dota 2 teams, Zero Tenacity and CyberHero, will compete in a best-of-three series on October 25, 2026. This market focuses on determining which team will secure victory on the second map of their match.
This market resolves based on the outcome of map 2 in the EPL Masters 2026 match between Zero Tenacity and CyberHero, scheduled for October 25, 2026, at 11:00 AM EDT. If Zero Tenacity wins map 2, that market resolves to Yes; if CyberHero wins map 2, its market resolves to Yes. If the match or map is postponed beyond 48 hours, cancelled, or forfeited before play begins, the market resolves to the fair market price. If a map begins and is later forfeited, resolution follows the official result from the governing body. Kalshi is not affiliated with the governing league, and all trademarks belong to their respective owners.
Prediction market odds often reflect the collective wisdom of a diverse group of traders, potentially offering a different perspective than traditional sportsbooks. Sportsbooks set lines based on their own models and aim to balance action on both sides, whereas this market allows anyone to express their belief about the outcome. Historically, prediction markets have demonstrated accuracy in forecasting event outcomes, sometimes outperforming traditional methods. However, it’s important to remember that both represent probabilities and are subject to change based on new information and shifting sentiment.
On Kalshi, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. On Kalshi, this market is priced using a continuous double auction. Traders buy and sell contracts representing their belief about the probability of each outcome. As more traders buy a contract, its price increases, reflecting a higher perceived chance of that outcome occurring. Conversely, selling pressure lowers the price. The current price of a contract directly corresponds to the implied probability of that outcome, as determined by the collective actions of all participants. This dynamic pricing mechanism ensures the market reflects the most up-to-date predictions.
This market resolves around Oct 25, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once the event is verifiable from credible public reporting. Specifically, the winner of Map 2 in the Zero Tenacity vs. CyberHero CS2 match will determine the outcome. The result will be based on the official match results as reported by the tournament organizers. The platform will verify the outcome against these trusted sources to ensure accuracy and transparency. Traders holding contracts on the winning outcome will be paid out according to the final market price.
Several factors could influence the price movement of this market. Any news regarding player form, team strategies, or roster changes for Zero Tenacity or CyberHero could shift expectations. Unexpected results in preceding matches or other tournaments could also impact trader sentiment. Furthermore, significant public discussion or analysis of the matchup, particularly if it challenges existing assumptions, could lead to price adjustments. Finally, large-volume trades on Kalshi itself can create momentum and drive price changes, especially closer to the Oct 25, 2026.
