This market refers to which team's player records the highest individual run total in the cricket match between India Under-19s and Australia Under-19s scheduled for October 5 2026 at 12:00 AM ET in Youth Test Match. The outcome corresponding to India Under-19s will be considered correct if the highest individual score in the match is recorded exclusively by a player from India Under-19s. The outcome corresponding to Australia Under-19s will be considered correct if the highest individual score is recorded exclusively by a player from Australia Under-19s. If the highest individual score is shared by at least one player from each team, the market will resolve to Draw. The market will resolve according to which team's player records the highest individual run total regardless of if the match is not competed (e.g. Due to weather conditions). DLS/DRS adjustments and any other on-field rulings affecting batting statistics are treated as ordinary data. If the match is permanently canceled, abandoned, or otherwise completed without official batting statistics being recorded, the market will resolve Draw. If the match is postponed or rescheduled, the market remains open until the listed fixture is completed and official statistics are available.

On Polymarket, this market is priced through a continuous auction mechanism. Traders buy and sell shares representing their belief in each batter being the top scorer. As more shares are purchased for a specific player, the price of those shares increases, indicating a higher probability of that outcome. On Polymarket, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. The price reflects the collective assessment of all participants, creating a dynamic and responsive market. This contrasts with fixed-odds betting, where the odds are set in advance and don't change based on subsequent trading activity.
This market resolves around Oct 12, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once the event is verifiable from credible public reporting. Resolution will be based on which batter scores the most runs in the first innings of the Youth Test Match between India Under-19s and Australia Under-19s. In the event of a tie, the batter who reached the score in fewer balls will be declared the winner. The official match scorecard will serve as the definitive source for determining the top batter, and the result will be reflected in the market’s final settlement.
Several factors could influence trading activity in this market. Any news regarding player form, such as strong performances in recent matches, could lead to increased demand for shares in that player. Unexpected weather forecasts that might favor certain batting styles could also shift the odds. Furthermore, announcements about team lineups or pitch conditions could significantly impact market sentiment. Finally, any late-breaking injuries or changes in player availability would likely cause a rapid reassessment of probabilities on Polymarket.
