Revisions to officially declared final scores made after market resolution will not be accounted for in determining the outcome. Typically, prediction market odds reflect the wisdom of the crowd, often differing from initial sportsbook offerings. Sportsbooks set lines based on their own models and need to account for profit margins, while this market is driven purely by traders’ willingness to buy or sell based on their individual assessments. If a significant number of traders believe a particular exact score is more likely than sportsbooks suggest, the odds on Polymarket will shift accordingly. This can sometimes lead to more accurate predictions, as the market aggregates diverse perspectives and information.
On Polymarket, this market is priced through a continuous auction mechanism where traders can buy and sell shares representing different exact scores. The price of each share reflects the market’s probability assessment of that outcome. On Polymarket, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. As more traders participate, the prices adjust to reflect the collective belief about the likelihood of each possible result. The market’s efficiency depends on the volume of trading and the information available to participants, creating a dynamic and responsive pricing environment for the Yokohama vs. Kawasaki match.
This market resolves around Nov 1, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once the event is verifiable from credible public reporting.
