In the upcoming Belgium Pro League game between Yellow-Red KV Mechelen and KRC Genk, scheduled for October 31, 2026 at 11:00 AM ET: This market will resolve based on the final score of the Yellow-Red KV Mechelen vs. KRC Genk match originally scheduled for October 31, 2026 at 11:00 AM ET, considering only the result at the end of 90 minutes of regulation plus stoppage time; extra time and penalty shoot-outs are excluded. If the actual score is not one of the explicitly listed outcomes, the market resolves to "Any Other Score." If the match is postponed, the market will remain open until it is completed; if it is canceled with no make-up game, the market resolves to "0-0." The primary resolution source for this market is the official statistics of the event as recognized by the governing body or event organizers. However, if the governing body or event organizers have not published final match statistics within 2 hours after the event's conclusion, data from Flashscore may be used; if Flashscore data is unavailable, data from Sofascore may be used; if neither is available, a consensus of credible reporting may be used instead. All markets will settle based on the official final result as recognized by the governing body or event organizers. Revisions to officially declared final scores made after market resolution will not be accounted for in determining the outcome. If no acceptable data is available within 24 hours of the event's conclusion, this market will resolve 50-50, or to "Draw" where applicable.

Prediction market odds often reflect a different perspective than traditional sportsbooks. Sportsbooks set lines to balance action and incorporate a profit margin, while this market relies on the collective wisdom of traders who are incentivized to accurately predict the outcome. Therefore, discrepancies can arise. If sportsbook odds suggest a certain score is highly probable, this market may assign a lower probability if traders believe the sportsbook is overestimating that outcome, or vice versa. Analyzing these differences can reveal valuable insights into where the crowd and professional oddsmakers diverge in their assessments.
On Polymarket, this market is priced through a continuous auction mechanism. Traders buy and sell shares representing different exact scores, and the price of each share reflects the market's current assessment of its probability. As more traders participate, the prices adjust to reflect the evolving consensus. On Polymarket, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. The price movements are driven by supply and demand, meaning that if many traders believe a particular score is likely, the price of shares representing that score will increase. Conversely, if traders become less confident, the price will fall.
This market resolves around Oct 31, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once the official result of the Yellow-Red KV Mechelen versus KRC Genk match is verifiable from credible public reporting. The final score, as determined by official sources, will be used to determine the winning shares in this market. The resolution process relies on publicly available data to ensure a transparent and accurate outcome. Traders should monitor official sources for the confirmed result to understand when the market will be settled.
Several factors could influence the trading activity and price movements in this market. Any news regarding team injuries, suspensions, or changes in coaching staff could significantly impact the perceived probabilities of different scores. Unexpected weather conditions on match day could also play a role, as could any pre-match analysis or commentary from sports analysts. Furthermore, large trading volume from informed traders could signal shifts in sentiment and lead to price adjustments. Monitoring these signals can help you understand the dynamics driving this market.
