On Polymarket, this market is priced through a continuous auction mechanism where traders buy and sell shares representing their belief in the outcome. The price of these shares directly reflects the implied probability of each outcome. On Polymarket, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. As more traders participate and new information becomes available, the price adjusts accordingly, providing a real-time assessment of the event's likelihood. The total volume traded influences price discovery, but ultimately, it is the balance of buy and sell orders that determines the current price.
This market resolves around Oct 10, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once the event is verifiable from credible public reporting. The resolution will be based on the official result of the Yarovyi vs. Sveshnykov match, as reported by the governing sports authority. Traders will be able to claim their winnings based on the final result, and the market will close once the outcome is definitively established. The platform will verify the result and distribute payouts accordingly.
Several factors could influence the price of this market before resolution. Any news regarding player injuries, changes in coaching strategies, or unexpected performance in preceding matches could shift trader sentiment. Major upsets in related events or significant shifts in public opinion could also play a role. Furthermore, large trades on Polymarket itself can create short-term price movements, especially if they represent a strong conviction about a particular outcome. Monitoring these signals will be key to understanding potential shifts in this market.
