Typically, prediction market odds reflect a wisdom-of-the-crowd perspective, often differing from initial sportsbook offerings. Sportsbooks set lines to balance action and incorporate a profit margin, whereas this market allows traders to express their independent beliefs. If a significant discrepancy exists between this market and sportsbook odds, it could indicate that prediction market participants possess information not yet fully priced into the sportsbook lines. However, as the event approaches, these odds tend to converge as more information becomes available and public sentiment solidifies.
On Polymarket, this market is priced through a continuous auction mechanism where traders buy and sell shares representing their belief in the outcome. The price of a share directly corresponds to the implied probability of that outcome occurring. As more traders participate, the price adjusts to reflect the collective assessment. On Polymarket, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. This means that shifts in demand, driven by new information or changing opinions, will cause the price of shares to fluctuate, providing a real-time indication of market sentiment regarding the Yarovyi vs. Danylov match.
This market resolves around Nov 5, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once the event is verifiable from credible public reporting. The resolution will be based on the official result of the Yarovyi vs. Danylov match, as reported by recognized sports authorities. The platform will then determine the winning outcome and distribute payouts to those who correctly predicted the result. Traders should monitor official sources for updates as the resolution date approaches to ensure they understand the basis for settlement.
