Typically, prediction market odds reflect the wisdom of the crowd and can differ from traditional sportsbook odds. Sportsbooks often set initial lines to balance action, while this market allows traders to freely express their beliefs about the likelihood of each outcome. If a significant discrepancy emerges between this market and sportsbook lines, it may indicate that the crowd believes the sportsbook is mispricing the event. It's common to see prediction markets, especially closer to the event, become more accurate predictors than traditional odds, as more information becomes available and is incorporated into the price.
