Generally, prediction market odds often reflect a wisdom-of-the-crowd effect, potentially differing from traditional sportsbook odds. Sportsbooks may set initial lines based on power rankings and expert analysis, while this market aggregates the opinions of many individual traders. These differences can arise due to varying information access, biases, or simply the dynamic nature of the prediction market, where odds shift rapidly with new information and trading activity. It's common to see discrepancies, especially as the event approaches and more data becomes available.
