Often, prediction market odds reflect a wisdom-of-the-crowd effect, potentially differing from traditional sportsbook odds. Sportsbooks may incorporate factors like house edges and marketing promotions, while this market relies on the collective predictions of informed traders. If there’s a significant discrepancy, it could indicate that the market believes a sportsbook has mispriced the event, or that new information hasn’t yet been fully incorporated into sportsbook lines. It's common to see prediction markets outperform traditional odds over time, especially when significant information is available.
