Generally, prediction markets like Polymarket often provide forecasts that are more accurate than traditional sportsbook odds, as they reflect the collective wisdom of many traders. However, sportsbook odds can sometimes offer value, especially if they differ significantly from the prediction market price. It's important to compare both to assess the potential for profitable trading. Discrepancies can arise due to differing levels of information, biases, or risk aversion between the two types of bettors. Analyzing these differences can inform your trading strategy for this market.
