Generally, prediction market odds often reflect a wisdom-of-the-crowd effect, potentially offering a different perspective than traditional sportsbooks. Sportsbooks set lines based on their own models and risk management, while this market is driven by the collective predictions of traders. Discrepancies can arise due to differing information, biases, or simply the dynamics of each venue. It's common to see prediction markets react more quickly to new information and potentially offer more accurate probabilities, though that isn't always the case. Comparing the two can be a useful exercise for informed decision-making.
