Typically, prediction market odds reflect the wisdom of the crowd and can differ from traditional sportsbook odds. Sportsbooks often set initial lines based on expert analysis and may adjust them based on betting action, while this market allows anyone to express their belief about the outcome. If a significant difference emerges between prediction market prices and sportsbook odds, it may signal that the crowd believes the sportsbook is mispricing the probability of a particular result. However, it's important to remember that both represent probabilities, and neither is guaranteed to be correct.

On Polymarket, this market is priced through a continuous exchange where traders buy and sell shares representing different outcomes. The price of each share reflects the market’s implied probability of that outcome occurring. On Polymarket, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. The market’s price is determined solely by supply and demand among traders on Polymarket, and is not influenced by external factors or a central authority setting the odds.
