This group of markets asks whether various League of Legends teams will advance to the Knockout Stage of the 2026 World Championship. The Knockout Stage is reached by being one of the eight teams to advance from the Swiss Stage. Resolution depends on official tournament results.
This market will resolve to "Yes" if the listed team reaches the Knockout Stage of the 2026 League of Legends World Championship (Worlds 2026), currently scheduled for October 15 to November 14, 2026, with the Knockout Stage scheduled to begin on November 3, 2026. Otherwise, this market will resolve to "No". A team reaches the Knockout Stage if it is officially confirmed as one of the eight teams advancing from the Swiss Stage (scheduled for October 23 to October 31, 2026) to the Knockout Stage, per official tournament rules. If at any point it becomes impossible for the listed team to reach the Worlds 2026 Knockout Stage (e.g. it is eliminated in the Play-In or the Swiss Stage, or withdraws from the tournament), the associated market will resolve to "No". If Worlds 2026 is canceled, postponed after December 14, 2026, 11:59 PM ET, or the Knockout Stage participants have not been determined within this timeframe, this market will resolve to "No". The resolution source for this market will be official information from the tournament organizer, Riot Games, via the LoL Esports website (https://lolesports.com). However, a consensus of credible reporting (e.g., Liquipedia at https://liquipedia.net/leagueoflegends/World_Championship/2026) may also be used.

Prediction market odds often differ from traditional sportsbook odds due to the differing incentives and information sources of participants. Sportsbooks aim to set lines that attract balanced betting, incorporating a profit margin, while prediction markets incentivize participants to express their true beliefs about the likelihood of an event. This can lead to prediction markets being more accurate, especially when there's a significant information advantage held by market participants. However, sportsbooks typically offer a wider range of betting options than are currently available for this market. Both offer valuable perspectives for informed decision-making.
