The outcome corresponding to India Champions will be considered correct if the highest individual score in the match is recorded exclusively by a player from India Champions. The outcome corresponding to West Indies Champions will be considered correct if the highest individual score is recorded exclusively by a player from West Indies Champions. If the highest individual score is shared by at least one player from each team, the market will resolve to Draw. The market will resolve according to which team's player records the highest individual run total regardless of if the match is not competed (e.g. Due to weather conditions). DLS/DRS adjustments and any other on-field rulings affecting batting statistics are treated as ordinary data. If the match is permanently canceled, abandoned, or otherwise completed without official batting statistics being recorded, the market will resolve Draw. If the match is postponed or rescheduled, the market remains open until the listed fixture is completed and official statistics are available.

On Polymarket, this market is priced through a continuous auction mechanism where traders buy and sell shares representing their belief in each outcome. The price of a share directly corresponds to the implied probability of that outcome occurring. As more traders buy shares in a particular team, the price increases, reflecting growing confidence in their chances. On Polymarket, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. The market dynamically adjusts to new information and changing sentiment, providing a real-time assessment of the likely winner of the World Championship of Legends top batter contest.
This market resolves around Oct 20, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once the event is verifiable from credible public reporting. The team with the highest batting score during the World Championship of Legends final match will be declared the winner. Resolution will be based on officially published match statistics and verified against credible public sources. The platform will then determine the winning outcome and distribute payouts to those who correctly predicted the top batter.
Several factors could significantly impact this market. Any news regarding player injuries or changes in team lineups would likely cause shifts in the odds. Unexpected performance in preceding matches, particularly strong batting displays from key players, could also influence trading activity. Furthermore, weather conditions on the day of the final match, or any controversies surrounding team selection, could introduce uncertainty and volatility. Any significant developments related to the teams’ form or key personnel are likely to move this market.
