On Polymarket, this market is priced through a continuous auction mechanism where traders buy and sell shares representing their belief in the outcome. The price of a share directly corresponds to the implied probability of that outcome occurring. As more traders buy shares in a particular outcome, its price increases, and vice versa. On Polymarket, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. This dynamic pricing allows the market to quickly incorporate new information and reflect the evolving expectations of participants regarding the number of sixes scored by each team.
This market resolves around Oct 11, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once the event is verifiable from credible public reporting. Resolution will be based on the official match statistics determining which team scores the most sixes during the World Championship of Legends match. The final tally of sixes will be sourced from official tournament data and widely available sports news outlets. Traders will be able to claim their winnings based on the final, verified result.
Several factors could influence trading activity in this market. Any news regarding player form, potential injuries, or changes to team strategies could shift expectations. Weather conditions on match day could also play a role, as they might affect the style of play and the likelihood of hitting sixes. Furthermore, pre-match analysis from cricket experts and public sentiment expressed on social media could all contribute to price movements in this market, as traders react to new information and adjust their predictions.
