This market refers to the cricket match between India Champions and England Champions scheduled for October 4 2026 at 11:30 AM ET in World Championship of Legends. DLS/DRS, over-rate penalties, forfeit/walkover, or any other on-field ruling that leads the competition to declare a winner are treated as ordinary wins. If the match ends tied and the playing conditions provide an on-field tiebreak (e.g., Super Over), the winner determined by that tiebreak will be used for resolution. If the match ends tied and no on-field tiebreak is used or available under the playing conditions (e.g., group-stage ODI with no Super Over), the market will resolve 50-50. If the match is postponed/rescheduled, the market remains open until the listed fixture is completed. If the match is permanently canceled or abandoned or otherwise is completed without a winner, the market resolves 50-50. The primary resolution source for this market is the official statistics of the event as recognized by the governing body or event organizers. However, if the governing body or event organizers have not published final match statistics within 2 hours after the event's conclusion, a consensus of credible reporting may be used instead.

Prediction market odds often reflect the collective wisdom of a diverse group of traders, potentially offering a different perspective than traditional sportsbooks. Sportsbooks set their lines based on statistical models and expert analysis, while this market is driven by individuals willing to put their capital behind their beliefs. It’s common to see discrepancies emerge, especially as new information becomes available or public sentiment shifts. Comparing the odds can be a useful exercise for informed decision-making, but remember that each represents a unique assessment of the likely outcome.
On Polymarket, this market is priced through a continuous auction mechanism where traders buy and sell shares representing their belief in the outcome. The price of a share directly corresponds to the implied probability of that outcome occurring. As more traders participate, the price adjusts to reflect the collective assessment. On Polymarket, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. The market’s price is determined solely by supply and demand; there are no external factors influencing the pricing process. This dynamic pricing allows for a real-time assessment of expectations surrounding the World Championship of Legends event.
This market resolves around Oct 11, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once the event is verifiable from credible public reporting. The resolution will be based on the official results declared for the World Championship of Legends competition between the India Champions and the England Champions. The platform will verify the results against trusted sources to ensure accuracy and transparency. Traders will then be able to claim their winnings or adjust their strategies based on the final outcome. It's important to monitor the event closely as the resolution date approaches.
Several factors could influence the price movement of this market. Unexpected news regarding player form, team strategies, or even weather conditions could all impact trader sentiment. Major announcements about team lineups or potential injuries would likely cause significant shifts in the odds. Public opinion, as reflected in polls or expert analysis, could also play a role, although the market is ultimately driven by actual trading activity. Monitoring these signals and events can help you understand the potential catalysts for price changes in this market.
