This market refers to the cricket match between India Champions and Bangladesh Champions scheduled for October 11 2026 at 11:30 AM ET in World Championship of Legends. DLS/DRS, over-rate penalties, forfeit/walkover, or any other on-field ruling that leads the competition to declare a winner are treated as ordinary wins. If the match ends tied and the playing conditions provide an on-field tiebreak (e.g., Super Over), the winner determined by that tiebreak will be used for resolution. If the match ends tied and no on-field tiebreak is used or available under the playing conditions (e.g., group-stage ODI with no Super Over), the market will resolve 50-50. If the match is postponed/rescheduled, the market remains open until the listed fixture is completed. If the match is permanently canceled or abandoned or otherwise is completed without a winner, the market resolves 50-50. The primary resolution source for this market is the official statistics of the event as recognized by the governing body or event organizers. However, if the governing body or event organizers have not published final match statistics within 2 hours after the event's conclusion, a consensus of credible reporting may be used instead.

Generally, prediction market odds often reflect a more accurate forecast of outcomes than traditional sportsbook odds, as they aggregate the wisdom of the crowd. This is because prediction markets allow participants to trade on their beliefs, leading to price discovery driven by informed speculation. However, sportsbook odds can sometimes differ due to factors like house margins and differing risk assessments. Comparing these odds can provide a broader perspective on the potential outcome of the World Championship of Legends, though it's important to consider the inherent differences in how each is determined.
On Polymarket, this market is priced through a continuous auction mechanism where traders buy and sell shares representing their belief in the outcome. The price of these shares fluctuates based on supply and demand, effectively creating a probability estimate for each possible result. On Polymarket, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. The current price reflects the collective intelligence of the traders on the platform, and changes in volume or significant trades can quickly shift the odds. The market's price is a direct indicator of how strongly traders believe either the India or Bangladesh champions will prevail in the World Championship of Legends.
This market resolves around Oct 18, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once the event is verifiable from credible public reporting. The resolution will be based on the official results of the World Championship of Legends match between the India and Bangladesh champions. The platform will verify the result against publicly available sources to determine which team has won, and the corresponding shares will be settled accordingly. Traders should monitor official announcements and reporting to stay informed about the event’s progress and the eventual resolution of this market.
Several factors could influence the price of this market before the Oct 18, 2026 resolution date. Any news regarding team performance, player injuries, or strategic changes could significantly impact trader sentiment. Unexpected upsets in preliminary matches or shifts in public opinion could also lead to price fluctuations. Major announcements from tournament organizers, or even significant social media buzz surrounding either team, could also serve as catalysts for movement. Monitoring these signals will be crucial for anyone looking to trade in this market leading up to the World Championship of Legends final match.
