The outcome corresponding to Australia Champions will be considered correct if the highest individual score in the match is recorded exclusively by a player from Australia Champions. The outcome corresponding to West Indies Champions will be considered correct if the highest individual score is recorded exclusively by a player from West Indies Champions. If the highest individual score is shared by at least one player from each team, the market will resolve to Draw. The market will resolve according to which team's player records the highest individual run total regardless of if the match is not competed (e.g. Due to weather conditions). DLS/DRS adjustments and any other on-field rulings affecting batting statistics are treated as ordinary data. If the match is permanently canceled, abandoned, or otherwise completed without official batting statistics being recorded, the market will resolve Draw. If the match is postponed or rescheduled, the market remains open until the listed fixture is completed and official statistics are available.

On Polymarket, this market is priced through a continuous auction mechanism where traders buy and sell shares representing their belief in each outcome. The price of a share directly corresponds to the implied probability of that outcome occurring. As more traders buy shares in a particular outcome, its price increases, and vice versa. On Polymarket, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. The market's price is determined entirely by supply and demand, reflecting the collective intelligence of the traders participating. This dynamic pricing ensures the market stays responsive to new information and changing expectations.
This market resolves around Oct 18, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once the event is verifiable from credible public reporting. The top batter will be determined based on the official statistics from the World Championship of Legends match between the Australia Champions and the West Indies Champions. The resolution will reflect the player with the highest aggregate batting score across both innings of the match. The platform will verify the result against trusted sources to ensure accuracy and transparency for all traders involved in this market.
Several factors could significantly impact this market. Any news regarding player injuries, changes in team lineups, or weather forecasts affecting playing conditions could cause shifts in the odds. Strong performances by a particular player in preceding matches or practice sessions could also increase their perceived probability of being the top batter. Major announcements from team management or expert analysis predicting a player's success could also influence trading activity and subsequently move the market. Unexpected developments leading up to Oct 18, 2026 will likely be reflected in the price of shares.
