This market refers to the cricket match between Australia Champions and Bangladesh Champions scheduled for October 7 2026 at 7:30 AM ET in World Championship of Legends. DLS/DRS, over-rate penalties, forfeit/walkover, or any other on-field ruling that leads the competition to declare a winner are treated as ordinary wins. If the match ends tied and the playing conditions provide an on-field tiebreak (e.g., Super Over), the winner determined by that tiebreak will be used for resolution. If the match ends tied and no on-field tiebreak is used or available under the playing conditions (e.g., group-stage ODI with no Super Over), the market will resolve 50-50. If the match is postponed/rescheduled, the market remains open until the listed fixture is completed. If the match is permanently canceled or abandoned or otherwise is completed without a winner, the market resolves 50-50. The primary resolution source for this market is the official statistics of the event as recognized by the governing body or event organizers. However, if the governing body or event organizers have not published final match statistics within 2 hours after the event's conclusion, a consensus of credible reporting may be used instead.

Often, prediction market odds offer a different perspective than traditional sportsbooks. This market reflects the wisdom of the crowd, incorporating a wider range of information and potentially identifying discrepancies that sportsbooks might miss. While sportsbooks set odds based on statistical models and expert analysis, this market's pricing is driven by actual traders putting their capital at risk. Discrepancies can arise due to differing opinions, access to information, or simply the dynamics of supply and demand within the prediction market itself. It’s valuable to compare both to form a well-rounded view.
On Polymarket, this market is priced through a continuous auction mechanism, where traders buy and sell shares representing their belief in the outcome. The price of these shares directly reflects the probability of that outcome occurring, as perceived by the market participants. On Polymarket, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. As more traders participate and new information becomes available, the price adjusts accordingly, providing a dynamic and real-time assessment of the event’s potential results. The current price indicates the collective forecast of all traders on Polymarket.
This market resolves around Oct 14, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once the event is verifiable from credible public reporting. The resolution will be based on the official results of the World Championship of Legends match between the Australia and Bangladesh champions. The platform will verify the outcome against publicly available data to determine which outcome corresponds to the actual result of the competition. Traders who correctly predicted the winner will be paid out according to the final market odds.
Several factors could influence the trading activity in this market. Unexpected news regarding player form, team strategies, or even potential roster changes for either the Australia or Bangladesh champions could all shift the odds. Major upsets in other qualifying matches within the tournament could also impact perceptions of team strength. Furthermore, any significant announcements related to the tournament's schedule or venue could introduce volatility. Monitoring these signals and analyzing their potential impact is key to understanding how this market might evolve.
