All markets will settle based on the official final result as recognized by the governing body or event organizers. Revisions to officially declared final scores made after market resolution will not be accounted for in determining the outcome. If no acceptable data is available within 24 hours of the event's conclusion, this market will resolve 50-50, or to "Draw" where applicable.

On Polymarket, this market is priced through a continuous auction mechanism where traders buy and sell shares representing their belief in each possible exact score. As more shares are bought for a particular outcome, its price increases, reflecting a higher probability. On Polymarket, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. The price of each share directly corresponds to the implied probability of that outcome occurring. Traders are incentivized to provide accurate predictions, as they profit if their chosen outcome eventuates and lose if it doesn't. This dynamic process creates a market-driven assessment of the match's potential results.
This market resolves around Oct 31, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once the event is verifiable from credible public reporting. The final score of the Wolverhampton vs. Cardiff match, as officially recorded by sporting authorities, will determine the winning outcome in this market. Any potential delays in official reporting may impact the resolution timeline, but the outcome will be based on the authoritative result of the game. Traders will be able to claim their winnings once the resolution is finalized on Polymarket.
Several signals could significantly move this market before resolution. Any news regarding key player injuries or suspensions for either Wolverhampton or Cardiff would likely cause shifts in probabilities. Unexpected changes in team formations or tactical approaches announced before the match could also influence trading activity. Furthermore, weather conditions on match day, or even late-breaking news about team morale or internal conflicts, could all contribute to price fluctuations in this market. Public sentiment and analysis from football experts could also play a role, though the market ultimately reflects the collective judgment of traders on Polymarket.
