The spread on this market may differ from typical sportsbooks by as much as 97.1.
Price discrepancies between Polymarket and Kalshi are common due to several factors. Polymarket and Kalshi can show different implied probabilities for the same outcome because of liquidity, fee structure, participant mix, and how each venue defines the contract. Each platform attracts a different user base with varying levels of expertise and information. Trading fees, market-making activity, and even the time of day can influence prices. Furthermore, the liquidity—or volume—on each platform impacts price discovery. If one platform has significantly more volume, its price is more likely to be considered the 'true' probability, but that doesn’t mean the other platform’s price is necessarily incorrect. Currently, Polymarket shows Willamette Bearcats vs. Portland Pilots at 1.9%, while Kalshi leans toward Portland wins at 99.0%.
