This market will resolve to "Yes" if a safety car is deployed at any point during the 2026 F1 Spanish Grand Prix, scheduled for Sep 13, 2026. The market will resolve to "No" if the race is completed without any safety car deployment. If the 2026 F1 Spanish Grand Prix is canceled or rescheduled to a date after Sep 20, 2026, this market will resolve 50-50. Virtual Safety Car (VSC) deployments do not count as safety car deployments for the purpose of this market. Only physical safety car deployments where the safety car enters the track will result in a "Yes" resolution. The resolution source will be the official Formula 1 website and a consensus of credible sports news reporting.

This market resolves around Sep 21, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once the event is verifiable from credible public reporting. A safety car deployment is officially recorded by race officials and widely reported by motorsport authorities and media outlets, making the result clear and indisputable for all participants. The timing aligns with the race finish, ensuring all traders can verify the result shortly after the event concludes.
Several key factors could influence this market before Sep 21, 2026. Notable driver incidents, track condition reports, or weather forecasts for the race weekend might raise safety car probabilities as the event approaches. Updates from race organizers about circuit preparation or safety measures could also shift expectations. Media coverage highlighting past safety car frequency at this circuit may affect trader sentiment. As practice and qualifying sessions occur closer to the race, real-time developments on the track — such as crashes or mechanical failures — will likely cause rapid movements in this market.
