This market will resolve to "Yes" if a red flag is shown at any point during the 2026 F1 Azerbaijan Grand Prix, scheduled for Sep 26, 2026. The market will resolve to "No" if the race is completed without any red flag periods. If the 2026 F1 Azerbaijan Grand Prix is canceled or rescheduled to a date after Oct 3, 2026, this market will resolve 50-50. A red flag shown during practice sessions, qualifying sessions, or any other session besides the main race does not count for this market. Only red flags shown during the Grand Prix race itself will result in a "Yes" resolution. The resolution source will be the official Formula 1 website and a consensus of credible sports news reporting.

Compared to traditional sportsbook odds, prediction market odds for this market often reflect sharper, more granular insights because they incorporate real-time trader sentiment and rapid updates. While sportsbooks may lag or smooth probabilities for broader betting appeal, this market captures immediate reactions to practice sessions, weather shifts, or track conditions that could influence the need for a red flag.
This market resolves around Oct 4, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once the event is verifiable from credible public reporting. A red flag is officially declared by race officials during the Azerbaijan Grand Prix, and the result is settled based on that definitive call.
This market could shift based on track condition forecasts, driver incidents in practice or qualifying, weather updates, or any official statements from race organizers before Oct 4, 2026. Major accidents in earlier sessions, safety car deployments, or deteriorating conditions during the race may push odds toward a red-flag outcome, while smooth running keeps probabilities low.
