This market will resolve to "Yes" if the champion of BLAST Slam VIII wins every game (map) it plays in the BLAST Slam VIII Playoffs (the LAN Finals held at BLAST Arena Studios in Malta), currently scheduled for October 8 to October 11, 2026. Otherwise, this market will resolve to "No". Only games played in the Playoffs stage count (Upper Bracket, Lower Bracket, and Grand Final). Results from the Group Stage, Seeding Matches, and Last Chance stage do not count. A game the champion loses by forfeit counts as a lost game. A game the champion wins by forfeit, and any game of a series that is not played because the series has already been decided, does not count as a lost game. The Grand Final is a single best-of-five series with no bracket reset. If this tournament is canceled, postponed after November 10, 2026, 11:59 PM ET, or no champion has been declared within this timeframe, this market will resolve to "No". The resolution source for this market will be official information from the tournament organizer, BLAST (https://blast.tv/dota/tournaments/blast-slam-viii); however, a consensus of credible reporting (e.g., Liquipedia at https://liquipedia.net/dota2/BLAST/SLAM/8) may also be used.

Often, prediction market odds reflect a wisdom-of-the-crowd perspective that differs from traditional sportsbooks. Sportsbooks may set initial lines based on team rankings and expert analysis, while this market allows anyone to trade on their beliefs, potentially leading to odds that incorporate a wider range of information and perspectives. It's common to see discrepancies, especially early in the market's life, as traders refine their assessments of the champion’s chances of winning every map. Comparing these odds can offer valuable insights into public sentiment and potential value bets.
On Polymarket, this market is priced using a continuous double auction. Traders buy and sell shares representing their belief in whether the BLAST Slam VIII champion will win every map in the playoffs. As more people buy shares, the price increases, indicating a higher probability, and vice versa. On Polymarket, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. The price of a share directly reflects the market’s implied probability of the outcome occurring, providing a dynamic and real-time assessment of the event’s likelihood. This mechanism allows for efficient price discovery based on the collective intelligence of the traders.
This market resolves around Nov 11, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once the BLAST Slam VIII playoffs have concluded and the results are verifiable from credible public reporting. Resolution will depend on whether the champion of the BLAST Slam VIII tournament wins every single map played during the playoffs. The outcome will be determined based on the official results published by the tournament organizers and widely reported by sports news outlets. Traders will then be able to claim their winnings or fulfill their obligations based on the final result.
Several factors could influence the price of shares in this market. Any news regarding the form of potential champions, such as key player injuries or significant roster changes, could shift trader sentiment. Unexpected results in early playoff matches, demonstrating a team's dominance or vulnerability, would also likely have a substantial impact. Furthermore, strategic map picks and counter-strategies employed during the playoffs could alter perceptions of a team’s ability to win every map. Overall tournament performance and the perceived strength of opposing teams will all play a role in shaping the market’s price.
