This market will resolve to "Yes" if, in any single game of the BLAST Slam VIII Playoffs (the LAN Finals held at BLAST Arena Studios in Malta), currently scheduled for October 8 to October 11, 2026, the same team is credited with killing a Tormentor two or more times. Otherwise, this market will resolve to "No". A Tormentor kill is credited to the team whose hero lands the killing blow on the Tormentor, as recorded in the game's objectives log. Each Tormentor death counts as a separate kill, regardless of which side of the map that Tormentor spawned on. Both kills must be made by the same team within the same game. Only completed official games of the Playoffs stage count (Upper Bracket, Lower Bracket, and Grand Final). Games from the Group Stage, Seeding Matches, and Last Chance stage do not count. Games that are remade or not completed, and games awarded by forfeit without being played, do not count. This market may resolve to "Yes" as soon as a qualifying game is confirmed. If the BLAST Slam VIII Playoffs are canceled, or are postponed such that they have not concluded by November 10, 2026, 11:59 PM ET, this market will resolve to "No", unless a qualifying game has already occurred. The primary resolution source for this market will be official match data from OpenDota (https://www.opendota.com) for the games of the BLAST Slam VIII Playoffs; however, Dotabuff (https://www.dotabuff.com), Datdota (https://www.datdota.com), official broadcast footage, and a consensus of credible reporting may also be used.

Comparing prediction market odds to sportsbook odds reveals how collective intelligence differs from traditional oddsmaking. Often, prediction markets, like this one, can incorporate information more quickly than sportsbooks, especially regarding nuanced event details. If sportsbooks initially underestimate the probability of a team achieving this feat, you might see the odds on Polymarket diverge. However, as more information becomes available and sportsbooks adjust, the odds may converge. It’s important to remember that both represent probabilities, but are derived through different mechanisms.
This market resolves around Nov 11, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once the event is verifiable from credible public reporting. Resolution will depend on whether, during the BLAST Slam VIII Playoffs, any team successfully eliminates two Tormentors in a single game. The result will be based on official game results and statistics released by the tournament organizers. The market will then be settled based on whether this condition was met during the specified playoff period.
Several factors could influence trading activity in this market. News regarding team form, player performance, or strategic changes within the competing teams could all shift expectations. Unexpected upsets during earlier rounds of the BLAST Slam VIII Playoffs might also impact the perceived likelihood of a team being capable of eliminating two Tormentors. Major announcements about roster changes or in-game strategies could also cause significant movement. Any information suggesting a team is particularly strong or weak in this specific aspect of the game could drive trading volume and adjust the odds.
