On July 12, 2026, Anthropic announced that it was extending access to Claude Fable 5 on all paid plans through July 19, 2026, ahead of the previously scheduled cutoff after which the model would move to usage-credit-only billing (https://x.com/claudeai/status/2076351399999557669). This market will resolve to "Yes" if Anthropic announces a qualifying extension of access to "Claude Fable 5" beyond July 19, 2026, by the listed date, 11:59 PM ET. Otherwise, this market will resolve to "No." A qualifying extension requires Fable 5 to remain included in standard usage limits, without requiring usage credits for baseline access, on at least one of the Pro, Max, or Team plans. An extension covering only the Enterprise plan does not qualify. The percentage cap itself is irrelevant to qualification (higher, lower, unchanged, or removed all count), so long as some portion of the included allowance can be spent on Fable without drawing from a usage-credit balance. The primary resolution source for this market will be official information from Anthropic; however, a consensus of credible reporting will also be used.

Prediction market odds reflect aggregated trader expectations and often diverge from traditional analyst forecasts because markets incorporate real-time information and financial incentives. Analysts may issue periodic reports on Anthropic's strategy, but this market updates continuously as traders react to product announcements, competitive moves, and user demand signals. Markets tend to be more responsive to breaking news, while analyst forecasts may lag behind market repricing. Comparing the two reveals whether professional analysts are more or less bullish than the crowd of traders betting on another extension.
On Polymarket, this market is priced through an automated market maker that converts trader buy and sell orders into a continuous probability. On Polymarket, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. The price you see represents the collective belief of all participants about the likelihood of the outcome. As more traders buy YES or NO shares, the price adjusts in real time. Traders profit by buying low and selling high, or by holding positions until resolution. The spread between bid and ask prices reflects liquidity and uncertainty in the market at any given moment.
This market resolves around Jul 19, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once the event is verifiable from credible public reporting. The resolution hinges on whether Anthropic has officially extended Claude Fable 5 paid-plan access by that date. Traders holding YES shares win if an extension is announced or implemented before the deadline; NO holders win if no extension occurs. The market will settle based on verifiable evidence from Anthropic's official channels, product announcements, or credible technology news sources documenting the extension decision.
Key catalysts include Anthropic's official product announcements, changes to Claude Fable 5 availability or pricing, competitive pressure from other AI providers, and user demand metrics. If Anthropic signals plans to discontinue or consolidate Fable 5, odds would likely drop. Conversely, strong user adoption or positive press coverage could increase the probability of an extension. Earnings calls, blog posts, or API documentation updates may reveal strategic intent. Broader AI market trends, regulatory changes, or shifts in Anthropic's business priorities could also influence trader expectations before the July 19 deadline.
