This market will resolve to "Yes" if a team from the VCT China league reaches the Grand Final of VALORANT Champions 2026 (also known as VCT Champions 2026), currently scheduled for September 24 to October 18, 2026, in Shanghai, China. Otherwise, this market will resolve to "No". A team is considered to have reached the Grand Final if it is one of the two teams officially confirmed as a participant in the Grand Final match, regardless of the Grand Final's outcome. For the purposes of this market, the VCT China teams are the four teams that qualified for VALORANT Champions 2026 through VCT China as designated by the organizer, Riot Games: TYLOO, JD Gaming, EDward Gaming, or XLG Esports. A replacement team that enters the tournament via the VCT China league's allocation also counts. If this tournament is postponed after November 17, 2026, 11:59 PM ET, canceled, or the Grand Final participants have not been determined within this timeframe, this market will resolve to "No". The resolution source for this market will be official information from the tournament organizer, Riot Games, via the VALORANT Esports website (https://valorantesports.com). However, a consensus of credible reporting (e.g., Liquipedia at https://liquipedia.net/valorant/VCT/2026/Champions) may also be used.

Typically, prediction market odds reflect the wisdom of the crowd and can differ from traditional sportsbook odds. Sportsbooks often incorporate a 'vig' or commission into their odds, while this market allows for more direct peer-to-peer betting. If a Chinese team is heavily favored by analysts and the public, you might see higher probabilities assigned to that outcome in this market compared to a sportsbook, which may adjust its lines based on liability. However, discrepancies can also arise due to differing information or risk assessments among market participants and sportsbook operators.
On Polymarket, this market is priced through a continuous auction mechanism, where traders buy and sell shares representing their belief in the outcome. The price of a share directly corresponds to the probability of a Chinese team reaching the VALORANT Champions 2026 Grand Final, as perceived by the market participants. On Polymarket, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. As more traders participate and new information becomes available, the price fluctuates, reflecting the collective intelligence of the crowd. The market is driven entirely by supply and demand for these shares, creating a dynamic and real-time assessment of the event’s likelihood.
This market resolves around Nov 18, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once the event is verifiable from credible public reporting. Resolution will depend on whether a team representing China reaches the Grand Final of the VALORANT Champions 2026 tournament. Official tournament results and standings will be used to determine the winning outcome. The market will close and shares will be settled based on this verified result, allowing traders to realize their gains or losses according to their positions in this market.
Several factors could significantly impact this market. Major roster changes for Chinese VALORANT teams, strong performances in qualifying tournaments, or announcements regarding the tournament format could all shift probabilities. Unexpected upsets in regional competitions, or the emergence of a dominant Chinese player or team, would also be key catalysts. Additionally, news regarding visa issues for international events, or changes in the competitive landscape within the VALORANT esports scene, could influence trading activity and move this market considerably before Nov 18, 2026.
