Generally, prediction market odds often reflect a wisdom-of-the-crowd perspective, potentially differing from sportsbook odds which can be influenced by factors like house bias or promotional offers. Sportsbooks set initial lines to balance betting action, while this market relies on traders directly expressing their beliefs about the outcome. If there’s a significant discrepancy, it could indicate that the market perceives information differently than sportsbooks, or that one venue has access to unique insights. It's common to see the two converge as the event approaches and more information becomes available.
