This market refers to the cricket match between Zimbabwe Women and West Indies Women scheduled for October 7 2026 at 6:00 AM ET in West Indies Women Tour of Zimbabwe T20s. DLS/DRS, over-rate penalties, forfeit/walkover, or any other on-field ruling that leads the competition to declare a winner are treated as ordinary wins. If the match ends tied and the playing conditions provide an on-field tiebreak (e.g., Super Over), the winner determined by that tiebreak will be used for resolution. If the match ends tied and no on-field tiebreak is used or available under the playing conditions (e.g., group-stage ODI with no Super Over), the market will resolve 50-50. If the match is postponed/rescheduled, the market remains open until the listed fixture is completed. If the match is permanently canceled or abandoned or otherwise is completed without a winner, the market resolves 50-50. The primary resolution source for this market is the official statistics of the event as recognized by the governing body or event organizers. However, if the governing body or event organizers have not published final match statistics within 2 hours after the event's conclusion, a consensus of credible reporting may be used instead.

Prediction market odds often reflect the collective wisdom of a diverse group of participants, potentially offering a different perspective than traditional sportsbooks. While sportsbooks set odds based on their own models and profit margins, this market allows anyone to express their view, leading to odds that can sometimes diverge from those found at sportsbooks. It’s common to see prediction markets react more quickly to new information or shifts in sentiment, as traders can instantly adjust their positions. Examining both can provide a more comprehensive understanding of potential outcomes.
This market resolves around Oct 14, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once the event is verifiable from credible public reporting. Resolution will be based on the official results of the West Indies Women Tour of Zimbabwe T20s, specifically determining which team wins the series. Traders will be able to claim their winnings once the resolution is finalized on Polymarket.
Several factors could influence the price movement of this market. Unexpected injuries to key players on either the Zimbabwe Women or West Indies Women teams would likely cause shifts in the odds. Any news regarding team form, changes in playing conditions, or even weather forecasts could also impact trader sentiment. Furthermore, early match results within the series will undoubtedly have a significant effect, as they provide concrete data points for assessing each team’s chances of overall victory. Any major upsets in the initial games could lead to substantial changes in the probabilities reflected in this market.
