This market refers to the combination of the pre-match coin toss and the final match result for the cricket match between India and West Indies scheduled for October 14 2026 at 9:30 AM ET in West Indies Tour of India T20s. The outcome corresponding to India will be considered correct if India is officially recorded as winning both the toss and the match. The outcome corresponding to West Indies will be considered correct if West Indies is officially recorded as winning both the toss and the match. In all other cases - including where the toss and match winners differ, or where no match winner is recorded - the market will resolve to "Draw". DLS/DRS adjustments, over-rate penalties, forfeit/walkover, Super Over, or any other on-field ruling that leads the competition to declare a match winner are treated as ordinary wins. If the match ends tied and the playing conditions provide an on-field tiebreak (e.g., Super Over), the tiebreak winner will be considered the match winner for this market. If the match ends tied with no tiebreak used or available, no team will be considered to have won the match and the market will resolve to "Draw". If the match is permanently canceled, abandoned, or otherwise completed without an official match winner being declared, the market will resolve to "Draw". If the match is postponed or rescheduled, the market remains open until the listed fixture is completed and will then resolve as described above.

Often, prediction market odds reflect the wisdom of the crowd and can differ from traditional sportsbooks. Sportsbooks set lines based on their own models and aim to balance action on both sides, while this market allows anyone to express their belief about the outcome. If a significant number of traders believe one team is more likely to win the toss, the odds will shift accordingly, potentially diverging from sportsbook lines. It's common to see prediction markets incorporate information and perspectives not fully captured by traditional oddsmakers, offering a unique view of event probabilities.
This market resolves around Oct 21, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once the event is verifiable from credible public reporting. The resolution will be based on the official result of the coin toss prior to the start of the first T20 match in the West Indies Tour of India series. The team that wins the toss will be considered the winning outcome for this market. The result will be determined by the official announcement made by the match officials and widely reported by sports news outlets.
Several factors could influence the odds in this market. Any news regarding team lineups, potential changes in playing conditions, or even weather forecasts could shift trader sentiment. Unexpected announcements about player availability or injuries could also have a significant impact. Furthermore, general perceptions of team form and recent performance can influence trading activity. As the match draws closer, any information that alters the perceived probability of either team winning the toss is likely to cause movement in this market.
