This market refers to the combination of the pre-match coin toss and the final match result for the cricket match between India and West Indies scheduled for October 6 2026 at 9:30 AM ET in West Indies Tour of India T20s. The outcome corresponding to India will be considered correct if India is officially recorded as winning both the toss and the match. The outcome corresponding to West Indies will be considered correct if West Indies is officially recorded as winning both the toss and the match. In all other cases - including where the toss and match winners differ, or where no match winner is recorded - the market will resolve to "Draw". DLS/DRS adjustments, over-rate penalties, forfeit/walkover, Super Over, or any other on-field ruling that leads the competition to declare a match winner are treated as ordinary wins. If the match ends tied and the playing conditions provide an on-field tiebreak (e.g., Super Over), the tiebreak winner will be considered the match winner for this market. If the match ends tied with no tiebreak used or available, no team will be considered to have won the match and the market will resolve to "Draw". If the match is permanently canceled, abandoned, or otherwise completed without an official match winner being declared, the market will resolve to "Draw". If the match is postponed or rescheduled, the market remains open until the listed fixture is completed and will then resolve as described above.

On Polymarket, this market is priced through a continuous auction mechanism. Traders buy and sell shares representing their belief in the probability of each outcome. As more shares are purchased for a particular outcome, its price increases, reflecting a higher implied probability. On Polymarket, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. The price of a share represents the probability of that outcome occurring, and traders aim to profit by correctly predicting the event's outcome. The current volume and price movements indicate what the collective market intelligence believes about the toss winner.
This market resolves around Oct 13, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once the event is verifiable from credible public reporting. Specifically, the outcome will be determined by the official result of the coin toss preceding the first T20 match in the West Indies tour of India series. The team declared the winner of the toss will be the resolving outcome for this market. The platform will verify the outcome against publicly available sources to ensure accuracy and transparency.
Several factors could influence trading activity in this market. Any news regarding potential playing conditions, such as a particularly grassy pitch favoring seam bowlers, might shift expectations. Updates on team lineups, especially if a key player known for their toss record is included or excluded, could also move the market. Furthermore, general weather forecasts for the match location and any pre-match analysis from cricket experts discussing toss strategies could all contribute to changes in the odds. Public sentiment and broader betting trends may also play a role.
