On Polymarket, this market is priced through a continuous auction mechanism. Traders buy and sell shares representing their belief in each player’s likelihood of hitting the most sixes. As more shares are purchased for a particular player, the price of those shares increases, reflecting growing confidence. On Polymarket, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. The price of a share directly corresponds to the implied probability of that outcome occurring. This dynamic pricing ensures that the market odds continuously adapt to new information and changing perceptions.
This market resolves around Oct 16, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once the event is verifiable from credible public reporting. Resolution will be based on the official match statistics from the West Indies Tour of India T20s, specifically the total number of sixes hit by each player across all matches in the series. The player with the highest number of sixes will be declared the winner of this market. Any ties will be handled according to Polymarket’s documented rules.
Several factors could significantly impact this market. Any news regarding player injuries or changes in team lineups would be a major catalyst. Unexpected weather conditions that favor batting or bowling could also shift the odds. Furthermore, strong individual performances in the early matches of the series will likely influence trader sentiment and adjust the probabilities. Finally, pre-match analysis from cricket experts and any shifts in public opinion regarding player form could all contribute to movement in this market.
