This market refers to the cricket match between India and West Indies scheduled for October 11 2026 at 9:30 AM ET in West Indies Tour of India T20s. DLS/DRS, over-rate penalties, forfeit/walkover, or any other on-field ruling that leads the competition to declare a winner are treated as ordinary wins. If the match ends tied and the playing conditions provide an on-field tiebreak (e.g., Super Over), the winner determined by that tiebreak will be used for resolution. If the match ends tied and no on-field tiebreak is used or available under the playing conditions (e.g., group-stage ODI with no Super Over), the market will resolve 50-50. If the match is postponed/rescheduled, the market remains open until the listed fixture is completed. If the match is permanently canceled or abandoned or otherwise is completed without a winner, the market resolves 50-50. The primary resolution source for this market is the official statistics of the event as recognized by the governing body or event organizers. However, if the governing body or event organizers have not published final match statistics within 2 hours after the event's conclusion, a consensus of credible reporting may be used instead.

Typically, prediction market odds offer a different perspective than those found at traditional sportsbooks. Sportsbooks often incorporate a 'vig' or commission into their odds, which represents their profit margin. This market, driven by the collective wisdom of traders, aims to represent the true probability of an event occurring. While sportsbooks may initially set odds based on statistical models and expert opinions, this market’s odds evolve dynamically based on real-money wagers, potentially revealing insights that differ from initial sportsbook assessments. It's a fascinating comparison to see how crowd-sourced predictions stack up against professional oddsmakers.
This market resolves around Oct 18, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once the event is verifiable from credible public reporting. The resolution will be based on the official results of the West Indies Tour of India T20s series. Specifically, the market will determine which team wins the series overall. The outcome will be determined by the official series results as reported by reputable sports news sources and governing bodies. Traders will then be able to claim their winnings based on the final outcome.
Several factors could significantly influence this market. Unexpected injuries to key players on either the Indian or West Indies teams would likely cause shifts in the odds. Major changes in weather forecasts for the match locations could also impact predictions, as weather conditions can heavily influence T20 cricket. Furthermore, any significant news regarding team form, player availability, or strategic changes announced by either team could lead to increased trading activity and price adjustments. Finally, public sentiment and expert analysis released leading up to and during the series could also move this market.
