Frequently asked questions

Generally, prediction market odds tend to be more accurate than those offered by traditional sportsbooks, especially closer to the event. This is because prediction markets aggregate the wisdom of the crowd, incorporating a wider range of information and perspectives. Sportsbooks, while employing analysts, are still susceptible to biases and limitations in their modeling. However, initial odds on Limitless may differ from sportsbook offerings, and discrepancies can arise due to varying risk assessments and market dynamics. It's common to see convergence as the event approaches and more information becomes available.

On Limitless, this market is priced through a continuous auction mechanism where traders buy and sell contracts representing their belief in whether both Werder Bremen and 1899 Hoffenheim will score. The price of these contracts fluctuates based on supply and demand, reflecting the collective probability assigned to the outcome. On Limitless, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. The price movement is driven by traders reacting to news, team form, injuries, and other relevant factors. A higher price indicates a greater perceived likelihood of both teams scoring, while a lower price suggests the opposite.

This market resolves around Nov 1, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once the event is verifiable from credible public reporting. Resolution will be based on whether both Werder Bremen and 1899 Hoffenheim score at least one goal during the match. Official match data from reputable sports news sources will be used to determine the final result. The platform will then distribute payouts to traders holding winning contracts, based on the final market price at resolution. It's important to monitor the event closely as the resolution date approaches.

Several factors could significantly influence this market. Key injuries to prominent attacking players on either Werder Bremen or 1899 Hoffenheim would likely shift the odds. Changes in team form, such as a string of high-scoring or low-scoring games, could also impact trader sentiment. Unexpected tactical decisions by either manager, or even weather conditions on match day, could introduce uncertainty and volatility. Any news regarding suspensions or changes in the starting lineups will also be closely watched by traders on Limitless.
