Revisions to officially declared final scores made after market resolution will not be accounted for in determining the outcome. If no acceptable data is available within 24 hours of the event's conclusion, this market will resolve 50-50, or to "Draw" where applicable.

Typically, prediction market odds reflect a wisdom-of-the-crowd perspective, often differing from those set by sportsbooks. Sportsbooks incorporate a profit margin and may be influenced by promotional considerations, while this market is driven purely by traders’ beliefs about the outcome. If sportsbook odds significantly diverge from those on Polymarket, it could indicate a disagreement about the probability of certain scores, potentially presenting an opportunity for informed traders. However, it's important to remember that both represent probabilities, and neither is guaranteed to be correct.
On Polymarket, this market is priced through a continuous auction mechanism, where traders buy and sell shares representing different exact scores. The price of each share reflects the market’s collective assessment of that score’s probability. As more traders participate, the prices adjust to reflect new information and changing sentiment. On Polymarket, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. The market depth—the number of shares available at different price points—also provides insights into the strength of conviction behind each outcome. This dynamic pricing ensures that the market remains responsive to new developments and information.
This market resolves around Nov 3, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once the event is verifiable from credible public reporting. The final score of the Watford FC vs. Lincoln City FC match will be used to determine the winning share(s). The resolution will be based on the official result published by a recognized sports data provider. Traders will be able to claim their winnings once the outcome is officially verified and reported, and the shares corresponding to the correct score will pay out according to their price at resolution.
Several factors could influence the trading activity in this market. Any news regarding team injuries, changes in player lineups, or tactical adjustments could shift the perceived probabilities. Unexpected weather conditions on match day could also play a role. Furthermore, public sentiment and media coverage surrounding the teams and their recent performance could impact trading volume and price movements. Major upsets in other related matches or changes in betting patterns could also create volatility in this market, leading to shifts in the odds.
