For all markets, only points scored during the first half count toward resolution. If the game is postponed but commences within 48 hours of its original scheduled start time, the market remains open and resolves based on the official result of the first half as played. If the game does not start within 48 hours of its scheduled time, all markets resolve to a fair price. Kalshi clarifies it holds no official affiliation with the governing league, and all trademarks remain property of their respective owners.
Prediction market odds often reflect the collective wisdom of a diverse group of forecasters, potentially differing from those set by sportsbooks. Sportsbooks establish lines to balance action on both sides and incorporate a profit margin, while this market is driven purely by traders' beliefs about the likelihood of each outcome. Discrepancies can arise due to differing information sources, analytical approaches, or simply varying levels of confidence in a particular team. It's common to see this market adjust rapidly to new information, potentially leading to odds movements that diverge from initial sportsbook offerings.
On Kalshi, this market is priced through a continuous order book where traders buy and sell contracts representing each possible outcome. The price of a contract reflects the market’s implied probability of that outcome occurring. As more traders buy a contract, its price increases, and vice versa. On Kalshi, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. The current price indicates what percentage of the event’s outcome is already priced in by the market, and represents the cost to take a position on a particular result. The market dynamically adjusts as new information becomes available and traders update their beliefs.
This market resolves around Oct 31, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once the winner of the first half of the Wagner vs Merrimack game is verifiable from credible public reporting. The official game result, as reported by a trusted sports data source, will determine the winning outcome. The resolution process relies on publicly available and independently verifiable information to ensure accuracy and transparency. Traders will be able to view the finalized result on Kalshi following the game's conclusion.
Several factors could influence the price of this market leading up to Oct 31, 2026.
