Typically, prediction market odds reflect the wisdom of the crowd and can differ from traditional sportsbook odds. Sportsbooks often set initial lines based on statistical models and expert analysis, while this market’s probabilities are determined by traders actively buying and selling shares. If a significant number of traders believe a sportsbook is mispricing the outcome, they can express that view by trading on Polymarket. This can lead to prediction market odds diverging from, or converging towards, those offered by sportsbooks, depending on the collective assessment of market participants.
On Polymarket, this market is priced through a continuous auction mechanism. Traders buy and sell shares representing their belief in the probability of a specific outcome – in this case, either Justina Mikulskyte or Isabella Marton winning the match. As more shares are bought for one outcome, its price increases, reflecting a higher implied probability. On Polymarket, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. The price of a share directly corresponds to the perceived chance of that outcome occurring, and traders aim to profit by accurately predicting the event's result.
This market resolves around Oct 27, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once the event is verifiable from credible public reporting.
