Typically, prediction market odds offer a different perspective than those found at sportsbooks. Sportsbooks incorporate a 'vig' or commission into their odds, ensuring profit regardless of the outcome. This market, however, represents the collective wisdom of traders who are incentivized to accurately predict the result. As such, the implied probabilities from Polymarket may differ from traditional sportsbook lines, potentially offering value to informed bettors. It's common to see prediction markets more accurately reflect true probabilities, especially as more information becomes available and the event approaches.
