Often, prediction market odds reflect a different perspective than traditional sportsbooks. Sportsbooks set lines to balance action and incorporate a profit margin, while this market represents the collective wisdom of PredictionHero users. Discrepancies can arise from differing information, biases, or simply a wider range of participants. If sportsbooks heavily favor one player, but this market shows a more competitive expectation, it may indicate that PredictionHero users have access to, or place greater weight on, information not fully reflected in sportsbook lines.
