Typically, prediction market odds reflect a different set of information and incentives than traditional sportsbooks. Sportsbooks often incorporate a 'vig' or commission into their odds, while prediction markets aim to represent the true probability of an event occurring as determined by the crowd. While sportsbooks may initially set odds based on expert analysis, this market's odds are driven by the collective wisdom of traders. Discrepancies can arise due to differing opinions, access to information, or simply the dynamics of supply and demand within the prediction market itself. It’s common to see differences, especially as the event approaches.
