Typically, prediction market odds reflect the wisdom of the crowd and can differ from traditional sportsbook odds. Sportsbooks often set initial lines to balance action, while this market allows traders to freely adjust probabilities based on their own analysis and information. If there’s a significant disparity, arbitrage opportunities may arise, where traders can profit by betting on both the prediction market and a sportsbook. However, it’s important to remember that both represent probabilities of an outcome, and neither guarantees accuracy. The comparison to sportsbook odds is a useful signal for evaluating the market’s perspective.
