Often, prediction market odds reflect the wisdom of the crowd and can differ from traditional sportsbook odds. Sportsbooks may set initial lines based on expert analysis and attempt to balance betting action, while this market allows anyone to express their belief about the outcome. If a significant discrepancy exists between the two, opportunities for arbitrage may arise, as traders attempt to profit from the difference. It’s important to remember that prediction markets are forward-looking and incorporate new information as it becomes available, potentially leading to faster adjustments than sportsbooks.
