Prediction market odds often reflect the wisdom of the crowd, potentially differing from traditional sportsbook odds. Sportsbooks set lines based on their own models and need to account for profit margins. This market, however, is driven by traders who are incentivized to accurately predict the outcome. If a significant discrepancy exists between prediction market probabilities and sportsbook odds, it may indicate that the market believes the sportsbook has mispriced the event, or that new information hasn't yet been fully incorporated into sportsbook lines. It’s a good practice to compare both to form a well-rounded view.
