Typically, prediction market odds offer a different perspective than traditional sportsbooks. Sportsbooks often incorporate a 'vig' or commission into their odds, while Polymarket allows traders to directly assess the probability of each outcome. If a significant difference emerges between this market and sportsbook odds, it could signal that the crowd believes one outcome is more or less likely than implied by the sportsbook. However, it’s important to remember that both represent probabilities based on different information and perspectives.
